Hi, ,

Tarot Overloaditis is a little talked about but very common ailment that affects Tarot Readers.

Symptoms include headache, blurred vision, low energy, and feeling like your brain is going to explode.

Thankfully, this illness is very preventable. In this email, I'm going to share with you four tips for keeping Tarot Overloaditis at bay.

Focus On One Book Or Course At A Time

There's a TON of information out there about the Tarot so take your time discovering it. It's a tool that you can use for a lifetime and will never stop learning.

The Tarot is an immensely deep system that will take you years to master, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be a kick-ass Tarot reader right now. Tarot is about tapping into your intuition and wisdom, this will deepen as your knowledge in the systems increases.

By enjoying the learning process and taking it one step at a time, you’ll avoid overload and burnout.

Get Support

When you start feeling overwhelmed or confused; don't hesitate to reach out to friends, colleagues or mentors in the Tarot community for guidance and support.

The Tarot Readers Academy Facebook group is a great place to meet new people and get support.

Remember, you don't have to do it all on your own.

Take Space

While Social Media can be a great source of inspiration, support, and even business, but it's important to take a break regularly.

I'm a total Social Media junkie. Even I have to delete Facebook from my phone every now and then when I feel overwhelmed. I only come back when I feel ready. I also make an effort to turn off my phone or leave it in the other room so that I get some space.

If you find yourself getting distracted or your productivity has completely stopped, it might be a good time for a social media vacation. Switch off, take time out and recharge.

Use self doubt as a tool for healing

Self-doubt is a complete killer. It makes us paralyzed and unable to move forward. When the seeds of self-doubt grow, it can either drive people to work harder than ever (and potentially burn out) or give up.

Somes ways doubts can show up:

  • Thinking you don’t have what it takes to learn such a big system.
  • Being afraid that you're going to be wrong every time you interpret a card.
  • When you pull a card, but the meaning that is calling to you is not what the book says.
  • Feeling like no one will pay you what you’d like to charge.

Doubt feeds on fear; the Tarot can help you identify your fears and eliminate them through understanding. Instead of being a victim of your fears, take ownership of them by using the Tarot as an opportunity for healing.

Remember that this is a journey, and there will be ups and downs. By using the Tarot as a tool for self-learning, you'll grow both as a Tarot reader and as a person.

Do you have any strategies that you use when you're feeling overwhelmed? I'd love to hear what they are.

Until next time,

Blessings,

Ethony*
